All Brogie Bags are made from synthetic leather material. Because of the irregular size and shape of natural leather hides, there is a lot of waste when they begin cutting for patterns. This makes real leather much more expensive than synthetic and prices many people out of the market. Leather bags are heavier, require maintenance to keep them looking good, and aren't waterproof. All hardware on Brogie Bags including rivets, conchos and buckles are 100% rustproof. Saddlebags mount under the seat and secure to brackets. Brackets are strongly recommended for the riders' safety. Toolbags attach with adjustable velcro straps that make installation simple and fast. Touring bags and Travel bags also attach with velcro to the sissy bar and can be secured to a luggage rack. Luggage rack recommended.
